Proposed 2022 Water Rates

Water Myth or Fact Quiz Picture Instagram Post

On November 3, 2021, City Council received a recommendation from the Water Commission on the 2022 Water Rates. No action was taken because City Council wants input from you!

The Water Commission has recommended Case C, which adds a $2.50 increase to the base rate and rearranges the tier levels to begin at 0 gallons. This means the base rate would no longer include 5,000 gallons. To watch Vice Chair Harshbarger present to the City Council, please watch the November 3, 2021, City Council Meeting. After reviewing the presentation, please contact City HallMayor, or a City Councilmember with any questions or concerns. City Council wants to hear input from YOU, the residents and customers of the Garden Ridge Water Company.
