Required Building Permits
The Building Official reviews all plans and Building Permit Application in regard to city ordinances and the International Residential Council (IRC) for building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing (IPC), Fuel Gas Code.
Required Licensed Contractors
Electric, plumbing, mechanical and contractors, as well as those who install irrigation systems and backflow inspectors must be licensed by the State of Texas.
Certificate of Occupancy Once buildings pass a final inspection and all life safety issues have been addressed, then a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.
