The City of Garden Ridge Water Company is a municipally-owned public utility established to furnish a water supply for domestic residential, business, and general farm uses in the City of Garden Ridge and in its Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN).
Our mission is to supply safe, uninterrupted water to Garden Ridge residents and businesses while recording the consumption of those services in an accurate and timely manner.
City of Garden Ridge Water System
The City’s water system is rated "Superior" by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The City’s source of water is pumped from the Edwards Aquifer and the Trinity Aquifer.
The total storage capacity for the City’s water system is 2.8 million gallons of which 1.6 millions gallons is ground storage and 1.2 million gallons is above ground storage. The City currently has 7 wells and each site is equipped with generators in case of power interruptions.
